Membership of the EUF is open to nationally recognised or registered professional associations of the tiling trade.

It is decided by the member countries whether joint organisations - consisting of tile-laying companies, tile dealers as well as national manufacturers - are to be formed. Such constellations of associations can be members of the EUF.

The General Assembly decides on admission on the proposal of the Executive Committee.

In countries where there are no national professional organisations that are considered to represent the national tiling trade geographically and professionally, other professional organisations may be admitted as observers or guests at working meetings and congresses.

Upon proposal of the Executive Committee, individual members of member associations who have rendered outstanding services to the EUF may be appointed honorary members or honorary presidents by resolution of the General Assembly.
